1. Another message presented in society daily, is smoking. This message is not beneficial, because it is addressed in a positive way, but with negative adverse health effects. Smoking is portrayed as being cool, and is advertised by celebrities and addressed all over the nation. One good side is advertising has been cut down, because of strict governmental views.
3. Tiger Woods has been in the limelight for a bad reason and it is mostly because of the media. They took something and kept picking at it until everywhere you would look you would hear about his situation. It got so big that the media began to dig deep and tried to say that Woods used steroids. They used Tiger Woods because of how popular he is to the public and knew that they could exploit him. They knew that whatever they would say about him the media would eat up. They use shock tactics alot when you deal with high profile people. Anything shocking that can be said will be said.
