The Tipping Point, 2010
The Tipping Points are the "levels at which momentum for change becomes unstoppable". Gladwell the author describes a tipping point as a sociological term. Tipping point can be referred to the boiling point, the glass that about to tip, the climax about to explode. This book begins by explaining the mysterious sides of life, the sides that are hidden in the shadows as well as the sides that we never really hear much about. It also explains the sociological changes that mark everyday life. As Gladwell states " Ideas and products are messages and behaviors that spread like viruses do." Gladwell also states in the 1st chapter the three rules of the Tipping Point- The Law of the Few, the Stickiness Factor, the Power of Context. These rules give us a general understanding of the events of life and a shadowing of the what the book will cover in the further chapters.
